These symbols are shown on\u00a0the left in the Symbols window.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">To create a new symbol:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li class=\"p1\">Click <strong>Add<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">The new accidental appears at the bottom of the list. Make sure the accidental is selected.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">Enter the accidental\u2019s name in the <strong>Name<\/strong> box.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">Enter the accidental\u2019s value in the <strong>Value<\/strong> box in cents. Positive values will raise the pitch, while negative values will lower it. Accidentals with a value of zero function as natural signs.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">If the symbol you want to use for this accidental is stored in an SVG file, click <strong>Acquire from SVG<\/strong>. If you want to import a symbol from a font, click <strong>Acquire from Font<\/strong>. The symbol you selected will appear on the preview staff.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">To change the size of the symbol, drag it from its bottom-left corner or enter a percentage value in the <strong>Scale<\/strong> box.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">To change the vertical position of the symbol, drag it up or down.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>To duplicate a symbol, click <strong>Duplicate<\/strong>.
