  1. Choose the Beam<\/strong> tool from the main section.<\/li>\n
  2. Choose the Beam Notes<\/strong> tool from the red sub-section.<\/li>\n
  3. Click the note that starts the beam. The selected note will be marked blue.<\/li>\n
  4. Click the note that ends the beam.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    To beam the notes automatically as you write them, make sure Auto-beam Notes<\/strong> is selected from the Score<\/strong> menu.<\/p>\n

    To change the direction of secondary beams:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    1. Choose the Change direction of secondary beams<\/strong> tool from the red sub-section.<\/li>\n
    2. Click the note where the direction change will be applied.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      To create a break in the secondary beams:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      1. Choose the Create break in secondary beams<\/strong> tool from the red sub-section.<\/li>\n
      2.
