MIDI key mappings are associated with each specific tuning<\/a> entry in a score. Make sure you\u2019re using the correct tuning:<\/p>\n

  1. In the score that you want to record\/paste into, set up the mapping<\/a> you wish to use in a tuning and give that tuning a unique name, e.g. \u201cBeyati mapped\u201d. (You can also duplicate the tuning before mapping if you wish to keep the original one as is)<\/li>\n
  2. Open a MIDI Recording window by choosing New MIDI Recording<\/strong> from the File<\/strong> menu and choose the same tuning from the previous step. It\u2019s a good idea to only have the one score open along with the MIDI Recording window and nothing else in Mus2.\n

    if you have multiple scores open, multiple tunings of the same name can appear in the recording window. This is why it\u2019s important to give the tuning in step 1 a unique name.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
