The toolstrip is composed of four color-coded sections. The yellow section at the top hosts the main notation tools. The other three sections (red, green and blue) display the sub-tools and settings available for the selected tool.

The terms “main section” and “sub-section” in this guide refer to the sections of the toolstrip.

To access the toolstrip with keyboard shortcuts, refer to the Toolstrip Shortcuts chapter of this guide. For more information on the notation tools, see the Writing Music chapter.

Mus2 window, interface sections
The toolstrip consists of four groups shown in four colors. The top yellow group houses the main note writing tools. The other three subgroups (red, green, and blue) show the options for the selected note editing tool.
